2025 Welcome Back everyone!

Good afternoon everyone,

 Welcome to the 2025-26 PBHS school year!  We are very excited to see everyone next week.  We have lots to share so we will try to keep things more brief.

1. Startup - First, we remind everyone that Grade 7 and 12 begin school on September 2 and the remainder of our grades will join in on September 3 to begin the year.  The bells are essentially the same as last year which are: Monday - Thursday (8:29am-3:30pm) and Friday (8:29am - 12:20pm).
2. Mr. Bergsma - We are sad to share that Mr. Brian Bergsma has accepted the Principalship at Warner School.  We are sad to lose him from this school but we wish him all the best in his new position.  
3. New Staff - We have some new staff to announce.  Mrs. Saad will be joining us to teach high school math, junior science and math along with cosmetology and 3D printing.  Ms. Henriksen is rejoining us to essentially take on Mr. Bergsma’s senior science and math courses.  Finally, we have both Ms. Skeith and Ms. Reghenas new to the school and they will be teaching junior and senior high humanities.  Please help us in welcoming the new staff to our school.
4. Volleyball - Volleyball is starting up right away and we will be conducting parent meetings on September 4 at 5:00 for junior high (after practice) and 5:30 for senior high (before practice).
5. School fees - We recognize that inflation and financial struggles are present at the start of school and we think we can help just a little bit.  We have been able to lower some of our fees to try and reduce the burden on our families.  Division fees will be staying the same this year.  We also have some new t-shirts (that we got a very good price on) that we would like to offer to students of families that pay their school fees by October 15.
6. Outdoor sign - If there are any complaints about the outdoor sign not being updated, please know that the system is presently malfunctioning and we cannot update the sign right now.
